After a few teasers, a bit of hype, and some key art here and there, we finally have a nice and clear look at The First Slam Dunk. This marks the directorial debut of Takehiko Inoue who also created the manga series in 1990.
So far, we get over a minute of drama and action with a bangin’ soundtrack.
While it’s nice to have good ol’ Shohoku back, the animation, while refreshing, might take some getting used to for some people–especially those who’ve gotten used to the older art style. Still, we’re getting their classic looks.
Will we be getting more teasers before its release? Best believe we’ll keep our eyes peeled.
The First Slam Dunk movie is coming out on December 3, 2022.
