Post-apocalyptic anime 'SYNDUALITY Noir' is coming to Disney+ this July

Disney+ continues to strengthen its anime lineup as the streaming platform announced that it will release SYNDUALITY Noir beginning this July.

This is the latest anime that’s coming exclusively to Disney+ following shows such as Heavenly Delusion, Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown Arc, and Summer Time Rendering.

This upcoming anime is part of the large-scale science fiction project titled “SYNDUALITY” by the Bandai Namco Group.

The series’ premise is described as:

Set in the year 2242, SYNDUALITY Noir follows a group of humans forced deep underground in the wake of a terrible catastrophe known as the “Tears of the New Moon” incident. After life in their underground city begins to collapse, humans are once again pushed to the surface, where a threat known as the Enders roam, looking to kill any humans they discover. With their lives at risk, groups of people have come together to create tight-knit settlements in various locations on the surface, relying on unique energy sources to power them and keep them safe. But with resources ever-dwindling, a group of brave individuals known as Drifters venture out into the open, battling the Enders and mining energy sources.

Aside from its interesting premise, the show also features a stacked voice cast featuring voice actors that many anime fans should be familiar with. These include:
