Sonic Frontiers ‘The Final Horizon’ free update is coming this September

Sonic Frontiers' third major free update is coming this September.

Following the second major update, SEGA announced that Sonic Frontiers “The Final Horizon” is coming this September, and it is the game’s third massive free content update.

Specifically, this new update is coming on all platforms for free to every player on all platforms, including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in late September.

As with the previous free updates, this latest one adds a lot of new content, including a new story on Ouranos Island. It also introduces Amy, Knuckles, and Tails. Plus, the update features new Challenges, missions, and a brand-new ending.

Sonic Frontiers is out now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. As for The Final Horizon update for Sonic Frontiers, it will be available beginning September 29, 2023.

Meanwhile, SEGA is also gearing up to launch Sonic Superstars which is unlike Frontiers as it features the series’ classic 2D platforming gameplay. Recently, a new trailer for Superstars was released along with its official release date.
