PlayStation unveils Deep Earth Collection accessories for PS5
These new PS5 covers and controllers might just convince you to change your console's default white cover.
During the recent State of Play stream, PlayStation unveiled the Deep Earth Collection, a series of accessories for the PS5.
Much like last year’s collection, this new line of console covers and controllers come in eye-catching hues. Though instead of having a galactic theme, this collection’s inspiration is “Deep Earth.”
Specifically, the covers and controllers come in three colors: Volcanic Red, Cobalt Blue, and Sterling Silver. All three colorways come in a metallic finish.
The inspirations behind the colors are explained by Satoshi Aoyagi and Leo Cardoso as:
“While crafting this new collection of DualSense controller and PS5 console cover colors, we drew inspiration from the beautiful and powerful hues found in the depths of planet Earth. We elevated the colors by adding a metallic finish for a touch of sophistication,” said Aoyago.
“Volcanic Red boasts a rich blazing red tone. Cobalt Blue, on the other hand, presents a deep shade of blue with intriguing hints of purple. Lastly, Sterling Silver showcases a classic aesthetic with a subtle blue undertone,” said Cardoso.
The Deep Earth PS5 collection DualSense controllers will be available with SRPs of SGD 107 / MYR 369 / IDR 1,359,000 / THB 2,590 / PHP 4,290 / VND 2,099,000. Meanwhile, the Deep Earth PS5 console covers will be available with prices of SGD 79.90 / MYR 259 / IDR 939,000 / THB 1,890 / PHP 3,090 / VND 1,499,000.
The release date of the accessories collection in Southeast Asia will be announced soon.
