After its opening in Japan, it’s now confirmed that the Jujutsu Kaisen Shibuya Incident x Culling Game movie will be released in cinemas in the Philippines this December.
Previously, it was confirmed that this compilation film-slash-preview will be released in the country in December. Now, Medialink Films Philippines confirmed that this special Jujutsu Kaisen theatrical version will be screened across the PH on December 3, 2025.
Currently, there’s no word yet on which cinemas will screen the movie. Given Jujutsu Kaisen’s popularity, coupled with the fact that we’ve also seen plenty of big anime theatrical releases this year, we won’t be surprised to see it get a wider release.
In case you missed it, this upcoming release is officially titled “Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins,” and it’s a compilation movie version of the Shibuya Incident Arc. Unlike the previously Hidden Inventory compilation film though, what makes this one a must-watch for fans is that it will also feature the first two episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 (aka The Culling Game). In a way, you can think of this as something similar to the previous Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village and Hashira Training World Tour previews.
JJK: Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins premiered in Japan on November 7, 2025. For its Philippine theatrical run, more info, including the official cinema list, will be shared soon.
