‘Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection’ PH cinema release date announced

[UPDATE (5/29): Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection is now showing in select PH cinemas]

Following the Code Geass movie’s PH release announcement, Pioneer Films has recently revealed the Philippine release date of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection. The film is set to release in select PH theaters on May 29, 2019.

The release date was revealed via the Viewers Choice Philippines official Facebook page. While the date was confirmed, Pioneer Films has yet to announce the full list of cinemas that will screen the Code Geass film.

In case you aren’t familiar, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection is the fourth feature-length film in the series, and it’ll take place after the events of the third film; the first three films being remakes of the Code Geass anime series. The movie will have a new story, and it’s helmed by the anime series’ director, Goro Taniguchi. Joining Taniguchi are most of the Code Geass series’ animation staff.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection opened in Japan back in February 9 where it earned over JPY 1 billion during its theatrical run.

In other anime movie news, DanMachi: Arrow of the Orion’s PH release date was moved back to May 25, 2019.
