ONE Store Beta Now Available

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most successful comeback stories in modern gaming. What was riddled with bugs, technical issues, unfulfilled promises, and potential when it was first released back in 2020 has now become one of the most critically acclaimed titles. Today, CD PROJEKT RED has announced that Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is set to hit digital platforms and retail stores on December 5th for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

This marks a significant milestone for the game as it introduces the first-ever physical edition of Cyberpunk 2077 for next-gen consoles.

Aside from the base game, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will include the phenomenal Phantom Liberty expansion which offers an unparalleled journey into the dark future of Night City. Players will step into the shoes of V, a cyber-enhanced mercenary, navigating the beautiful, deadly, and deceiving Night City with characters portrayed by Keanu Reeves and Idris Elba.

This ultimate release isn’t just a consolidation; it’s an evolution. Featuring Update 2.0, a massive overhaul of different gameplay systems, players can expect much improved dynamic skill trees, intense vehicle combat, and enhanced AI for a truly next-gen experience. The game also introduces new weapons, vehicles, and tons of bonus clothing to deck yourself out with.

Since its initial release, Cyberpunk 2077 has earned back a lot of goodwill and praise, prompting CD PROJEKT RED to further invest in the IP to continue expanding it. We’ve already seen glimpses of this with the excellent Edgerunners show on Netflix.

If you were one of those who turned their backs on the game and never gone back despite the new expansion and Update 2.0, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is the perfect excuse to jump back in or experience Night City in all of its glory, the way it was supposed to be all along.
